The adventure began thanks to our François

Our story began in 2021 when we welcomed our little François into our family. François is our French bulldog, our love.

To prepare for his arrival, we went to pet stores to be able to find him accessories. Unfortunately in front of the shelves all the accessories were monotonous, in dark colors. Not fun to welcome our François.

We wanted to turn to rather local designers who produced handmade accessories. The patterns were much prettier. However, the problem was security. Indeed, by testing the products like harness it caused irritation to François and the accessories were not that robust. On top of that, it was difficult to clean them in the washing machine because there were a lot of hand-sewn decorations.

That's when we decided to create Barkzie, the only brand combining excellent. quality and durability of the products with a unique style. We specialize in harness, collar, leashe, poop bag, bandana and bow tie.
